This Apple Stand Crushes Its Storytelling (Seriously). Here's What You Can Learn From It.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Is storytelling holding your biz back?

The best companies know the secret of stories.

Including apple farms. (Seriously!)

Here are 5 crispy tips you can take from one standout stand 🍎 ⬇

A TALE OF 2 STANDS

The farmers market in Williamsburg, BK has 2 stands that sell apples.

Same apples. World of difference.

The thing that separates them? Story.

Check out the 2 boxes of Empire, and ask yourself which one you're buying.

This place does this for EVERY apple. It knows the secrets of storytelling.

And here's what you can learn from them.

1. OWN YOUR EXPERTISE 🧠

An easy trap? Assuming people know what you know. They (mostly) don’t.

If you’re in business, you’re an expert. Own it.

You know what makes something special. Share it with your audience.

Especially if you’re introducing something, story gives them a door to enter.

2. ORIGIN STORIES 🌅

What do these apples & the MCU have in common?

They know the power of an origin story.

Origin stories ground us in what’s come before. They inspire us (even if they’re apples).

They connect us to struggle, triumph and (in the case of Blondee) unlikely, one-in-a-million beginnings.

3. SOCIAL PROOF 🤜 🤛

Who else might have found this special?

(Melville & Jefferson in Esopus' case)

There’s a reason why ‘they’re just like us’ stuff does so well.

We’re a connected species. If you’re selling something that somebody else has signed off on, think about including it.

4. RARITY & URGENCY 💨

Not only why is this special, but why is this special right now.In social, we talk about ‘thumb stopping.’

Why should someone stop scrolling and see what you’ve got to say? The answer, often, is because they'll miss out when they don't.

And if something won’t be around much longer, you help your chance of conversion.

5. WRITE ABOUT THEM (NOT JUST YOU) 😘

Stories don’t exist in a vacuum.

They connect people.

The best stories feel like they’re written directly to us.

Find the things that would be valuable to your audience (‘hey, parents might be shopping for kid school here’) and weave them into your story.

HOW CAN YOU HARNESS YOUR STORY?

Storytelling can take your business to a whole new level.

But finding yours isn’t easy.
