Our First Project, Hot Out Of The Fryer: Reimagining The Mozzarella Stick

November 25, 2022

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

During the depths of COVID in NYC in a tiny East Village apartment, Will Reynolds had an idea.

What if we took one of the most famous bar snacks in the world -- the mozzarella stick -- and added some innovation? What if we changed the way people thought about fried cheese.

Stir in some social media savvy. Sprinkle in some culinary flair. And put it all under a brand people will remember.

Out of that concept, Big Stick Willy's was born.

And BSW caught on quick.

Within months, they were featured in Grub Street, The New York Times and more.

Over the next few years, they kept growing -- ultimately getting meetings with restaurant chains interested in adding BSW's high-end cheese sticks to their menus.

One problem.

Their sell sheets & brand lacked polish. And when buyers saw them, the leads went away.

Enter Out Pitch.

Kevin worked with Big Stick Willy's leadership team on identifying the assets that needed updating. From there, we identified their story -- what makes them special, and what the vibe of each design should be -- and got to work.

Our directive? Make sure the innovation comes through. Make it fun. And use a bolder color scheme.

The result? Brand-new sell sheets, a 1-pager explaining what makes BSW different and another laying out the (clear) benefits for buyers comparison shopping.

Not to mention a chance to make a new first impression, and secure the meetings they'd been shut out of -- just in time for the holidays, with Q1 coming around the corner.
